Palace of Versailles
The château is one of the world's most prestigious artistic monuments, and certainly the finest and most complete example of 17th-century French art. The former residence of the “Sun King” Louis XIV, this sumptuous royal palace has been home to three of France's most illustrious kings for over 100 years. A tour of the palace includes the official apartments of the King and Queen, the Royal Chapel and the Gallery of Mirrors, a richly decorated gallery featuring 357 mirrors, bay windows and crystal chandeliers.
Palace gardens
Your journey through Versailles doesn't stop at the château - you'll also discover the legendary Versailles gardens. You'll have free time to stroll and explore the gardens at your own pace. Covering almost 2,000 acres, these impeccably maintained gardens feature over 400 sculptures and 1,400 fountains, and have inspired countless other gardens around the world. But your visit doesn't stop there! With your ticket, you'll also have access to Marie-Antoinette's Trianon estate, a separate palace-like complex set in Versailles' largest park.
