Walk around the main square where you will admire the beauty of the Santo Domingo temple that was part of a convent, now transformed into one of the best museums of colonial and pre-Colombian art, and where there are valuable objects from Monte Alban archaeological site; continue along the tourist walkway, (pedestrian street) admiring its green quarry buildings, you will find the Cathedral, built by the Dominican monks in the 16th century, you will see the outside of the Macedonio Alcalá Theatre, an architectural jewel of the City of Oaxaca, later you will go to the chocolate mills to talk and learn about the ingredients for the preparation of this exquisite drink.

Before finishing your tour, you will visit also the incredible market, one of the most typical in the region, where daily hundreds of people get together to offer their particular products, a tradition that goes back to the pre-Hispanic times.
