Day 1
Start your tour with a pickup from your hotel or residence in and around Kampala or Entebbe in the early morning. Grab a packed breakfast from a popular diner on the way to the park in Nakasongola. Arrive at the park in the mid-morning and enjoy a 45-minute hike to the top of Murchison Falls where you can expect to get wet.
Head to your accommodation, check-in, and get lunch. Afterwards, drive to the boat's departure point and embark on a 2-hour boat trip along the banks of the Nile to the bottom of the falls. If you’re not too tired from the early morning and the activities so far, enjoy an evening game drive.
Day 2
Enjoy a whole day of park activities like game drives and nature walks. Other paid activities are available, such as chimpanzee-tracking, bird-watching, and biking game rides. Alternatively, spend the afternoon relaxing and have the opportunity to use the lodge facilities.
Day 3
Sleep in and have a late breakfast before departing the park. Take the ferry and cross to the southern sector of the park before setting off on the return journey. Stop to try a taste of local staple delicacies for lunch. Relax on your scenic drive back to Kampala or Entebbe and stop at local roadside markets to taste seasonal fruit and chat with local vendors. If the option is selected, visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary on the way back to Kampala or Entebbe.
