What you can expect

Mechrey Floating Village is one of the most authentic and scenic floating villages in Siem Reap, Cambodia. It is located on the Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia and a Unesco Biosphere Reserve. The village is home to about 300 families who live in wooden houses on stilts or floating platforms. The villagers depend on fishing, farming, and tourism for their livelihoods. They also have a unique culture and lifestyle that is adapted to the changing water levels of the lake.
The purpose of this activity is to provide an opportunity for the participants to experience the beauty and diversity of the Tonle Sap Lake, learn about the history and culture of the Mechrey Floating Village, and enjoy some fun and relaxing activities such as kayaking and community paddle boat in the floating forest. The activity will also foster teamwork, communication, and cultural awareness among the participants.
