What you can expect

Set out for a guided exploration of Mazatlán’s iconic sites as you take in its bustling shopping districts, historic architecture, and seaside scenery from a comfortable van or coach.

After being picked up at your hotel, head to Mazatlán's Zona Dorada—the city's so-called “Golden Zone” is home to luxury hotels, waterfront golf courses, and trendy nightclubs. From there, wind your way up to the Glorieta Corazon lookout point for sweeping views out over the ocean and the Twin Rocks bird sanctuary.

From the beachfront Esplanade Olas Atlas promenade, watch Mazatlán's famed cliff divers leaping from a platform high above the sea, and then make your way into the historic city centre. See the vibrant central Plaza Machado—where musicians and dancers perform in the streets alongside busy cafés—and gaze up at the façade of the beautiful Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, built in 1890.

Before you leave the Centro Historico, cruise by the Angela Peralta Theatre—this colonnaded, red and white theatre from 1874 has held galas and boxing matches and is named for the celebrated opera singer who called Mazatlán her home.
