The excursion includes navigation in the calm waters of the Marsala lagoon, within the Stagnone Nature Reserve.
The route allows you to reach the island of Santa Maria, with its unusual golden beaches, Isola Grande, and Isola Schola, the smallest island in the Stagnone, now abandoned by man and conquered by seagulls.
The itinerary also includes landing on the island of San Pantaleo, seat of the Phoenician colony of Mozia, one of the most important archaeological sites in the world.
Several stops will be made, for a rest and to enjoy many typical Sicilian products, it is not absolutely necessary to bring your own packed lunch.
The route is very safe, both for the short length (about 5 miles) and for the tranquillity of the waters, so it is also practicable for first-time kayaking.
