  • Snowmobiles are driven in pairs with one driver and one passenger per snowmobile (even if you book as one person). You will have plenty of opportunities to switch places during the adventure
  • Please dress warm. A woollen base layer and at least one pair of woollen socks are recommended
  • All participants must follow the rules discussed in the safety briefing. Participants that endanger themselves or others in any way, will be excluded from the tour without the possibility of a refund.
  • The snowmobiles are insured with a liability of up to 980 EUR. That means the driver will have to pay up to 980 EUR on the spot to cover damages caused by the driver. Following the rules set by the tour guides will greatly reduce the risk of damage.
  • The pickup time from Tromsø and the drop-off time in Tromsø can be subject to change, therefore please plan for some extra time between activities and/or travel plans.
  • We may cancel this trip at any time due to weather or safety reasons. In this case, a full refund will be provided.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travellers. If it’s cancelled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a full refund or a different date if possible
  • Travel time is included in the total duration of the tour.

Scandic Ishavshotel (Pass by)
The adventure begins with a morning pick-up in the city centre of Tromsø, followed by a panoramic drive to Aurora Wonderland Basecamp. This scenic route includes a short ferry ride and stunning views of the Lyngen Alps.

Upon arrival at the base camp, you will receive snowmobiling equipment, including suits, boots, and helmets. Our experienced guide will then give you safety instructions and show you how to operate the snowmobile. Enjoy the ride as your guide leads you through the diverse terrain of Lyngen. After the ride, we return to the base camp for a warm expedition meal.
