Begin the day by arriving at a 40-acre base camp with plenty of parking + bathrooms, showers, and a camp store for last minute needs. Then, complete an extensive safety orientation to prepare you for your adventure. You'll be outfitted with a helmet, paddle, life jacket (commonly known as “lifejackets”) and meet your guide. Board your raft, which will hold between 5 and 8 paddlers plus a tour guide.
Once on the river, glide by beautiful scenery and have the chance to see wildlife, ranging from river otters to turtles to deer and more.
