Visit the National Carriages Museum, which features a unique collection of the oldest carriages in the world. Next, visit the 170 foot-high Monument of the Discoveries, a homage to all the Portuguese who took part in the great sea voyage of the 15th and 16th centuries.
The visit continues to a monument classified by Unesco as a World Heritage Site: the Jerónimos Monastery. This is one of the greatest achievements of Gothic-style Portuguese and European architecture of its time.
Finish the tour by stopping in the Pastéis de Belém shop for tasting the most famous pastries in Portugal.
