Continuation on the Ghriba, the oldest synagogue of Africa

A veritable open-air museum, Djerbahood is a village invested by artists from all over the world. The village of Erriadh in Djerba hosted during the summer of 2014 the works of a hundred artists of more than thirty different nationalities. North of the island, Houmt-Souk. It is almost the only "real" city of Djerba of which it is the administrative centre. Stroll through its streets, lined with houses with white facades, enlivened by plants and stalls with colourful products. The souk, in the heart of the city, is particularly lively. Houmt-Souk is a nice town, but be careful, the beach is 10 km away: you will need to take the bus or a taxi to get there.
