Start your tour at the Stadttheater, designed by Fellner & Helmer located close to the Schillerpark. You will then stroll on the street known as Ursulinengasse which will lead you to a 17th century church known as Stadtpfarrturm. The building is made in Eclecticism architecture style and offers city views from its tower.
As we continue, you will reach Landhaus located between Heiligengeistplatz and Altes Platz in the oldest part of the city centre. The building dates back to the late 16th century. Here, you will see its two towers and the courtyard and the Obelisk fountain.
You will then walk by the Landhaus park and then reach the Wörtherseemandl fountain which is one of the most notable landmarks of the city. Located closeby, you will find many cafes and restaurants.
Our next stop will be the Klagenfurt Cathedral offering beautiful interiors. Located in Domplatz, it is designed in baroque style and dates back to the late 16th century. It is dedicated to the holy trinity.
Finally, you will head towards Minimundus where you will find the world becomes small. Yes, here you will find 159 models of famous monuments from across 40 countries of the world.
