It is situated in Pussellawa area, on the A5 highway at Ramboda Pass. The waterfall is formed by the Panna Oya which is a tributary of Kothmale Oya. The falls have an elevation 945 m (3,100 ft) above sea level.

Tea Plantatin

Nuwara Eliya, a land of tea estates and waterfalls! Residing in the hill country in eternal winter temperate, covered with blankets of mist, and charmingly called as “Little England of Sri Lanka”. No matter which direction you gaze, the rolling hills decked up with green tea leaves will be a sight to behold.

Nuwara eliya has been the capital of Sri Lanka’s tea industry from the early 19th century. Its tea factories and tea estates are open to visitors to experience the history of British Ceylon. The colonial houses in Nuwara Eliya are a rare blend of Tudor and Georgian architecture with gable roofs and rosy lawns.

Tea factory

When in Nuwara Eliya, the region for the world’s best brew of tea, take a guided tour to the tea factory perched high in the hills surrounding Nuwara Eliya,The Tea estate is one of the most easily accessible estates in the hill country and takes around 30 minutes for you to go through the entire manufacturing process, i.e. from grading to packaging, and learn how Sri Lanka’s “Green Gold:” is manufactured. It is here that the crème de la crème of Sri Lanka’s teas – the fragrant and delicately flavoured “high growns” – flourish.

Nuwaraeliya post office

The Tudor-style two-storey red-brick buildingwith a clock spire, was constructed in 1894 by the British. In 2012 the former living quarters of the post master, on the upper floor of the post office, was converted into tourist accommodation.
On the 26 December 1990 Sri Lanka Post issued a Rs. 10 stamp with a photograph of the Post Office, to commemorate World Postal Day.

Lake Gregory Park

Lake Gregory sometimes also called Gregory Lake or Gregory Reservoir, is a reservoir in heart of the tea country hill city, Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka. Lake Gregory was constructed during the period of British Governor Sir William Gregory in 1873. The lake and the surrounding area make up the Gregory Lake Area.
