Activity itinerary

Amber Palace
  • 2h
  • Admission ticket not included
First we will take you to Amber Fort, it is located 11 kilometres north of central Jaipur. This massive fort-palace complex, built in a hybrid Hindu-Muslim style, dates back to Raja Man Singh and served as the palace of the Kachwahas from 1600-1727. The fort is not named after the rather pretty pastel yellow colour; rather, it is named after the town of Amber, whose name was in turn derived from the goddess Amba. The main sights within the fort include the Sheesh Mahal, adorned with thousands on thousands of mirror tiles on the walls and ceiling. The fort/palace grounds are sprawling so we recommend hiring a guide at the fort.
Panna Meena ka Kund
  • 30m
You'll visit Panna Meena Ka Kund (stepwell), a little-known gem near Amber Fort. It was built over 400 years ago and features stunning architecture and labyrinthine staircases that will take your breath away!
Jal Mahal
  • 30m
The Jal Mahal is surrounded by Nahargarh hills and is known for its sophisticated architecture and design. This water palace was also used for Royal duck shooting parties. It is well maintained and provides a scenic view of Nahargarh Fort.
City Palace of Jaipur
  • 2h
  • Admission ticket not included
The Royal City Palace is located in the heart of old Jaipur. It is a spectacular example of the amalgamation of Rajput and Mughal architecture. Commissioned to be built by the founder of Jaipur, Maharaja Jai Singh II, this lavish palace includes the living quarters of the erstwhile royal family, some of whom still reside in a private wing.
Jantar Mantar - Jaipur
  • 45m
  • Admission ticket not included
Jantar Mantar is a UNESCO world heritage site. It is the largest of five observatories built by Maharaja Jai Singh between 1727 and 1734 in north India. There are fourteen major geometric devices (or yantras in Hindi) in this observatory for measuring time, predicting eclipses, tracking stars in their orbits, determining planet declinations, and determining celestial heights, etc.
Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind
  • 45m
  • Admission ticket not included
Jaipur's most-distinctive landmark, the Hawa Mahal is an extraordinary pink-painted, delicately honeycomb hive that rises a dizzying five storeys. Haw Mahal is famous for its amazing and unique architecture. This palace features 953 windows, called jharokhas, that are beautifully incorporated into the honeycomb design. In addition to providing a window to the outside world for the royal women, these windows helped in keeping the palace airy and cool.
