Your 2-day adventure begins as you are either collected from your accommodation, or picked up from the tour meeting point. Your guide will provide you information about the park, the waterfalls, and the flora and fauna of the area, so that you can tour the park and not miss any attraction.
The Argentine side possesses 3 classic routes: superior, inferior, and garage of the devil. All of these routes have very easy access, with transfer via the ecological train included with entrance to the park. For the more adventurous, there is the 3-kilometer route along the Macuco Trail. The Macuco trail is self-guided, and enters the jungle taking its visitors to the territory of the endemic Caí monkeys.
Another hit of the Macuco trail is the Arrechea jump, a 23-meter-high waterfall of isolated height. The basin of this part of the Iguazú River is totally covered by the protected forest of the Iguazú National Park.
You will then explore the Brazilian side of the most magnificent waterfalls in the world. There you will be able to feel the refreshing mist of the water all around you, and can also enjoy the flora and fauna of this magical walk. Upon your return you can choose to stay in the duty free area, before later returning to your hotel on your own.
