Activity itinerary

St. George (Pass by)
We have a 1 hours drive to get to our first stop, the Carter House, St. George. On the way down you receive full commentary on all sites of interest that you will pass. You will get an overview of the Island, more of Bermuda's history & culture. Some places of interest include: The Royal Naval Dockyard, The Somerset Bridge (the smallest drawbridge in the world), a South Shore drive overlooking some of our pink sand beaches.
Carter House
  • 1h
This 17th century farmhouse was built in 1640 by the descendants of Christopher Carter, one of the Island's original settlers.
St. George's Historical Society Museum
  • 45m
Let's take a step back in time and get a feel of Bermudian life from the 1700's.
St. Peter's Church
  • 30m
The oldest surviving Anglican Church in continuous use in the world outside of the British Isles. Also, visit the burial ground for slaves and free blacks which was closed in 1854 (twenty years after the Emancipation of Slavery).
Historic Tucker House Museum
  • 45m
Built in 1752, this building holds a magnificent collection of Tucker family silva, china, crystal, antique English Mahogany and Bermuda Cedar.
White Horse Pub & Restaurant
  • 1h 30m
LUNCH TIME is your FREE TIME: 1.5 hours to recharge your battery. There are several restaurants in St. George for a lovely Bermuda lunch. If you are a fish lover you might want to try the authentic Bermuda Fish Sandwich (bermuda fish on raisin bread with tartar sauce). Absolutely delicious. That will go really nice with one of Bermuda's national drinks: the Bermuda Rum Swizzle or the Dark & Stormy. There's also shopping or a bit more exploring to do right there in King's Square (Town Hall or the State House) if you wish.
Royal Naval Dockyard
  • 1h
On the way back to the Dockyard, we continue with more commentary on Bermuda and more points of interest. Driving along the Middle Road we pass the Warwick Academy: founded in 1662, is said to be the longest continually functioning private school in the Western Hemisphere. We then will pass 5 Star Island – situated in Little Sound, owned by the Engelhorn Family from Germany. Returning to the Dockyard (a different change of scenery) wraps up the completion of a great successful day.
