Hike and Explore the Wonder of Mt. Bukhansan National Park
Bukhansan(837m, 2746ft) was designated as Korea’s 15th national park in 1983. With an area of 80km², it spreads across Seoul and Gyeonggi-Do (the province surrounding Seoul). With five million visitors per year, it is listed in the Guinness Book of World records as “the most visited National park per unit area”. Bukhansan national park has two mountains, Bukhansan in South and Dobongsan in North. Bukhansan national park is like an ecological island because it is entirely surrounded by urban areas. It is reputed to serve as the green lungs for the nearby urban environments. There are many historical sites including Bukhansanseong Fortress with 2,000 years of history, over 100 Buddhist temples and monk's quarters. In short, it is a great place for learning in terms of ecology, culture and history. For your convenience, we pick you up and drop off the hotel in Seoul.
