It is possible to visit the Centro Recupero Animali Marini Asinara (C.R.A.M.A.) in Cala Reale or the former maximum security prison called Diramazione Centrale in Cala d'Oliva, in agreement with the group and the skipper before departure. Visits are optional.
The C.R.A.M.A centre is open from 15 May to 30 September, every day from 10.30 am until 4 pm.
The prison-bunker (Diramazione Centrale) of Cala d'Oliva is open daily from 15 May to 30 September, from 10.30 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Disembarkation Fee
Only in the case of disembarkation on the island to visit the C.R.A.M.A or the prison-bunker of Cala d'Oliva is the payment of a Municipal Disembarkation Tax on the Island of Asinara directly on site and in cash required:
2.50 € from October to May
5 € from June to September
Residents of Porto Torres, minors under 7 years old, and persons with disabilities greater than or equal to 65% are exempt from paying the fee.
