What you can expect

Discover with your guide the world's largest museum. No need to stand in line! This guided tour offers the perfect opportunity to learn about the museum's huge collection and its greatest works of art, such as the Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo, and the Coronation of Napoleon.

Meet up with your guide and walk towards the Louvre, admiring the architecture of the massive royal palace and the striking, modern glass pyramid in the courtyard. Skip the entrance lines and head inside to explore this former residence of kings, now the world's most-visited museum. The collection can be overwhelming, but with a knowledgeable guide leading the way, you can be sure you're seeing the museum's highlights and not missing a thing.

Admire classical sculptures and objects from antiquity as you explore the museum's galleries, which house pieces from a period spanning more than 7,000 years. Travel from ancient Egypt to the Ottoman Empire, scoping out Islamic art, Greek sculptures, and European household objects from centuries past. Along the way, your guide tells you stories about the museum's most famous works. Discover the secrets behind da Vinci's mysterious Mona Lisa, ponder what happened to the Venus de Milo's missing arms, and take in the impressive grandeur of David's 1807 Coronation of Napoleon. After your tour wraps up, you're free to leave the museum or stay inside to continue exploring on your own.
