Day 1: Pokhara to Tikhedhunga via Nayapool
The actual trekking adventure begins with a drive to Nayapul, followed by a hike to Tikhedhunga. The trail winds through rhododendron forests, crosses suspension bridges over gushing rivers, and passes through charming villages. You'll get your first taste of the incredible natural beauty that surrounds you.
Day 02: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani
This day's trek is a challenging ascent to Ghorepani. The climb is rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. You'll stay overnight in Ghorepani, a delightful village known for its warm hospitality.
Day 03: Poon Hill Sunrise and Trek to Tadapani
An early morning hike to Poon Hill, at an elevation of 3,210 metres, is a highlight of the trek. As the sun rises, it paints the mountains with hues of pink and gold, creating a mesmerising spectacle that's perfect for photos. Afterwards, return to Ghorepani for breakfast and continue your journey. Ghorepani to Tadapani The trail continues through dense rhododendron forests and charming villages. You'll encounter local Gurung and Magar communities, gaining insight into their culture and way of life. Tadapani offers more stunning mountain views and a tranquil setting for the night.
Day 04: Tadapani to Ghandruk to Shyauli Bazar and Drive to Pokhara
The trek descends to the picturesque village of Ghandruk, known for its traditional Gurung architecture and warm hospitality. Enjoy the views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machapuchare (Fishtail Mountain) along the way.
The final leg of the trek takes you back to Nayapul. From there, you'll drive back to Pokhara, where you can relax by Phewa Lake, visit the World Peace Pagoda, and reflect on the incredible journey you've undertaken.
