Activity itinerary

Plaza de las Tres Culturas
  • 40m
After picking up our travellers at the zócalo, we will make a stop at the square of the three cultures. A magnificent place that architecturally summarizes the identity of Mexico City. We will walk through the ancient ruins of what was, from the 16th century, the most important commercial zone in Mesoamerica until the war for the conquest between the Aztecs and the alliance of Tlaxcaltecas with the Spanish. We will visit the Church of Santiago where the first indigenous person was baptized after the appearance of the Virgin of Guadalupe, San Diego. Likewise, we will know the multifamily buildings work of the architect Mario Pani. They represent the first stage of modernization of Mexico City in the 50s involved in important socio-political movements such as the 68 movement for the arrival of the Olympic games in Mexico City.
Basilica de Santa Maria de Guadalupe
  • 1h 30m
Afterwards, we will visit the most important Catholic temple in the world after the Vatican, the Basilica of Guadalupe. It is also known as the "atrium of America" from the words of Pope John Paul the second. We will climb the Tepeyac hill where the Virgin of Guadalupe originally appeared. We will enter the old basilica of Guadalupe that represents the rise of the Mexican baroque in New Spain built in the 18th century. Finally, we will visit the majestic work of the architect Pedro Ramírez Vázquez where today the original poncho mantle is located, the new basilica of Guadalupe. You will have enough time to pray, buy religious items, and take them to the blessings module.
Piramides de Teotihuacan
  • 2h
  • Admission ticket included
We will visit the mysterious city where men make gods, Teotihuacan. We will walk through the road of the dead, we will visit the pyramids of the sun and the moon where you can take the best photos and selfies. We will enter the palaces and temples where our ancestors left their social, political and religious legacy embodied in impressive murals.
San Juan Teotihuacan
