The Hall conveys the splendour of handmade sweets handed down by skilled craftsmen in Kyoto, a city that seeks simplicity yet glamour, through embroidery culture and wagashi and nature at Arashiyama with your own private guide.

The Embroidery Museum has four exhibition rooms with the theme of flowers, birds, wind and moon. All the framed works are delicate and gorgeous Kyoto embroidery paintings, and about 80 works are lined up on an overwhelming scale. Made with extremely fine threads, the workmanship is so fine that it could be mistaken for a painting or photograph, and you will be impressed for the first time.
