The Bacchus temple, larger than the Parthenon in Athens, is the most intricately decorated Roman temple in the world.

Zahle Zahle, the largest town in the Bekaa, has numerous noteworthy atteactions, including its scenic red title roofed homes cascading down the city's hills.
