Located approximately 12 km south of Sarajevo, Skakavac Waterfall is a hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Bosnia and Herzegovina. With a height of 98 metres, the waterfall may not have large quantities of water, but its mesmerising beauty makes it a top destination for nature enthusiasts.

Alongside the trail, you’ll discover multiple water springs with drinkable water, and we highly recommend bringing your own water bottle so you can try the fresh spring water. This approximately 9 km tour lasts approximately 4 hours, and the maximum elevation is 400m. Resting stops are included along the way, and there are plenty of benches for you to catch your breath, especially on the lower path leading to the bottom of the waterfall.
