The Annapurna Base Camp trek is a popular trekking route in Nepal that takes you to the base camp of the majestic Annapurna mountain range. The trek offers stunning views of snow-capped mountains, including Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). The trail passes through lush forests, charming villages, and traditional terraced fields, offering a glimpse into the unique culture and lifestyle of the local people. The trek typically takes around 5-7 days, depending on the route and pace, and is suitable for trekkers of all levels of experience.
Day 1: Pokhara to Ghandruk ( 1,940 metres (6,360 feet)
After breakfast at the hotel, we will take a ride to Nayapool with your trekking guide. The hike will start from Nayapool. We will be reaching Ghandruk after about 5-6 hours of hiking along the Modi khola, passing through various beautiful ethnic villages and forests.
Day 2: Ghandruk to to Chomrong (2,170 metres (7,120 feet)
Today, we will be hiking to Chomrong. Our hike for the day starts after breakfast at Ghandruk, once again passing through some beautiful hilly settlements and rhododendron forests with the obvious panoramic views of the Annapurna range by our side.
Day 3: Chomrong to HImalaya(2,920 metres (9,580 feet)
Today, we will be hiking to Himalaya after breakfast once again observing the wonderful mountains and enjoying the rhododendron forests and villages along the way.
Day 4: Himalaya to Annapurna Base Camp (4130 metres (13550 feet)
Today, we will be reaching to Annapurna Base Camp, the peak point of our trek. We will be staying overnight at Annapurna Base Camp and enjoy the closeness to the Annapurna range.
Day 5: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2335 metres (7657 feet)
Today, we will be hiking to Bamboo along side the usual beautiful rhododendron forests, natural springs and waterfalls, and the ethnic settlements.
Day 6: Bamboo to Jhinudanda (Hot spring) (1610 metres (5282 feet)
Today, we will be hiking to Jhinudada, where we will be enjoying the natural hot springs. The hot springs will help you relax your stressed out muscles from the hike.
Day 7th: Jhinudada to Nayapool and back to Pokhara
Today, we will be hiking to Nayapool from Jhinudada and we will catch the ride back to Pokhara.
