After meeting the skipper at the port of Catania, board your sailboat and head towards Aci Trezza. As you sail, learn about the terrain and history of the area from your guide. Cruise by rocks created by ancient lava flowing into the sea and spot the plants hardy enough to grow there.
Continue past the Castle of Aci Castello, jutting into the sea on a teetering cliff. Once you reach Aci Trezza, dive into the water for a refreshing swim. Use the snorkelling gear on board to spot tropical fish, or try your hand at stand-up paddleboarding.
