What you can expect

Explore Drumheller Provincial Park and the Canadian Badlands on this all-day private sightseeing tour in Alberta. Travel at your own pace with your own group. Visit Horseshoe Canyon and walk among the hoodoos (tall, thin spires of rock), followed by the Atlas Coal Mine. Stop at the Royal Tyrrell Museum, Canada's only museum dedicated to palaeontology.

Leaving from Calgary, Your first stop will be at Horseshoe Canyon, with unique views of the valley. A quick stop at the Drumheller Welcome Sign then Continues to the Hoodoos, where you will have time to explore and enjoy views of these unique sandstone formations and take Instagram photos in between rocks.

Next, visit the Atlas Coal Mine. Designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 2002, Stop for lunch at the town of Drumheller or See the World's Largest Dinosaur Structure. Added Stop will be Little Church of Drumheller and Horsethief Canyon

Visit the Royal Tyrrell Museum, Canada’s only museum dedicated exclusively to the Science of Palaeontology. Housing a collection of over 130,000 fossils, see mounted dinosaur skeletons including the T-Rex, Stegosaurus, and Triceratops. Look into the “Preparation Lab”, where you can watch technicians prepare fossils for research and exhibition.
