What you can expect

You can appreciate the world's most renowned art masterpieces held within the city's greatest museums, alongside treasures housed in one of the most magnificent cathedrals globally.

Your guide will first take you to the Accademia Galleryfor a comprehensive immersion in Michelangelo's art, introducing you to his most famous creation, the “David,” as well as other significant works like “I Prigioni,” “San Matteo,” and the “Palestrina Pietà.” Michelangelo, in his youth, sculpted the “David” from an immense block of rough marble over three years, crafting a monumental sculpture of absolute beauty, an emblem of the Renaissance ideal and a symbol of the strength and invincibility of the Florentine Republic during its peak.

Following that, you'll arrive at the Duomo Square, where you'll have the opportunity to explore the interior of the Cathedral, a treasure trove of priceless artistic wonders. Upon entering the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, you'll be immediately captivated by the grace of the three naves' spaces. Guided by your expert guide, you'll appreciate the beauty of Bandinelli's splendid marble choir, the collection of exquisitestained-glass windows crafted by Donatello, Ghiberti, and Andrea del Castagno, and the unique and enigmatic clock designed by Paolo Uccello. You'll also be astonished by the chance to stroll across a magnificent carpet of multicoloured marbles. When you gaze upward, you'll be greeted by the vast and preciousinterior of the Dome, entirely frescoed by Vasari. Brunelleschi's renowned Dome stands as the largest masonry dome ever constructed and an unparalleled icon of Renaissance architecture.

Lastly, your guide will lead you into the Uffizi Gallery, one of the world's most renowned art collections. Here, you can marvel at countless artworks byBotticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Giotto, Cimabue, Masaccio, and many other masters. Among the gallery's exquisite exhibition halls, the most famous one houses Botticelli's refined works, including the masterpieces “Primavera”and the “Birth of Venus.”
