Through this city tour, we will visit the most important points of Cordoba in a panoramic route.
We will start this experience with the pick-up at the hotels and our first point to visit will be the Historical Centre. Once there, we will descend to visit the Cathedral Church, the Cabildo and the Plaza San Martin.
Another highlight of this tour is the “Manzana Jesuítica” (Jesuit Block) integrated by the Church of the Company of Jesus, the Rectorate of the National University and the Monserrat College. It is a very important icon in the province since it was declared Historical Patrimony of Humanity by UNESCO and also for being part of the “Camino de las Estancias”.
Once we have finished this part of the walk, we will get into the vehicle to continue with the excursion and visit several historical and cultural places such as the La Cañanda stream, the “Nueva Córdoba” neighbourhood, the Paseo del Buen Pastor, the Capuchinos Church, among many other tourist sites.
Then, we will go to Sarmiento Park, one of the oldest parks in South America, designed by the famous French landscape architect Carlos Thays. There, we will make a brief stop and go down to the Mirador to see the “Around the World” wheel, one of the works made by Eiffel.
To finish with the panoramic tour, we will walk through the Güemes neighbourhood, known for its “Paseo de las Artes”, considered the epicentre of the “Bohemian Cordoba”. It is an area where artisans, art and design galleries, antiques and gastronomy coexist and it is considered one of the most energetic sectors of the social, cultural and recreational life of this city.
It goes without saying that with this activity, we will have the chance to go back in time and learn about the architecture, history, culture and modernity that Cordoba hides.
Around noon, after 3 hours, we will drop you off at your hotel in the city centre.
