Did you know that Brandenburg an der Havel is referred to in history books as the “cradle of the Mark Brandenburg”? Accordingly, on the one-hour tour through the Neustadt to the Cathedral Island you walk along time-honored paths, or rather paths and alleys.
Contemporary witnesses carved in stone are discovered: the St. Catherine's Church, the Mühlentorturm and, last but not least, the baptismal font of the Mark Brandenburg, the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul. All buildings from different eras of over 1000 years of history.
