The highlight of this tour is a visit to the famous Eagle's Nest perched atop the Kehlstein mountain at 6, 017ft. Exploring the fascinating history of Hitler's teahouse including the original features, such as the huge marble fireplace and the famous brass lift. PLEASE NOTE: The Eagle's Nest is only open May - October, depending on weather. If visiting November - April: Although not being able to visit the Eagle's Nest building itself, an in-depth historical account of the Eagle's Nest, using period photos to explain the historical significance of the building is included in this tour. Additionally, there will be an extended driving tour of Berchtesgaden to stop off at other WWII historical sites along the way.
