Your walking tour begins on the Theaterplatz square, near the Semperoper – a magnificent opera house built by genius architect Gottfried Semper. Today it is one of the richest opera houses in Germany.

Then you will marvel at the gala courtyard called Zwinger – a splendour example of Baroque architecture where magnificent receptions by Saxon ruler Augustus the Strong were held.

Your immersion in the world of royalty will continue with Dresden Castle – the principal residence of the Saxon rulers. Today the castle is home to the world's famous and very rich treasury called New Green Vault.

The tour ends at the Palace Square, near the incredible catholic cathedral Hofkirche, an 85-meter-high classical baroque church that will impress you with its pompous facade.
