From Salta we will travel into the Andes mountain range, following the route along the Quebrada del Toro, which is the same path as the beginning of the first part of the Train to the Clouds route. We'll arrive at one of the most important pre-Inca sites of Argentina, where more than 2000 natives used to live. Visit to the archaeological site of the citadel Santa Rosa de Tastil, its terraces and the museum.

Then we continue towards Laguna del Toro, located at 3000 metres high, is undoubtedly a place of great natural beauty and excellent spot for birdwatching, as we can find pink flamingos, Andean ducks and other species. Surrounded by this incredible landscape, we will enjoy our lunch, before beginning returning to the city in the afternoon.
