Freedom Matters Exhibit until December 2023
Explore the ongoing pursuit of liberty in a new special exhibit at the George W. Bush Presidential Centre. Featuring rare artefacts and interactive activities, Freedom Matters highlights the importance of freedom in building peaceful societies, how the work of freedom advocates has changed the lives of millions, and what we all can learn from the study of history.
Artefacts including a 14th-century copy of the Magna Carta and rare versions of the Declaration of Independence, Constitution of the United States, and Bill of Rights, will be on display as well as other pivotal documents and objects from world history, including the newspapers chronicling women’s suffrage, the Emancipation Proclamation and rare books by thinkers from Jean-Jacques Rousseau to Martin Luther King, Jr.
