The Sacred Valley is located 35 kilometres from Cusco, so called because it was the main supplier of food for the Inca Empire.
The Sacred Valley is located at the origins of the Urubamba River which in the past was known as Vilcanota.
The Incas built archaeological centers along its banks.
-We will start with the pick up from the hotel (Near or in the Historic Centre) between 7:00 - 8:00 a.m.
-We will travel to our stop at the archaeological centre of Pisac where we will have a brief guided tour.
-We will continue the excursion to Urubamba where we will have an Andean buffet lunch.
-Then we will travel to the archaeological centre of Ollantaytambo where we will have a guided tour in the most important areas.
-Then we will arrive to Chinchero where we will visit part of the archaeological centre and the textile interpretation centre.
-The tour ends in Cusco, you will be dropped off near the Plaza Kusipata.
-Arrival time 6:30 p.m. approximately.
