In our Canary Coast, up to 30 species of cetaceans have been identified, which makes our islands one of the places in the world with the greatest diversity of cetaceans and the largest in Europe.
Fin whales, dolphins, sperm whales, orcas or porpoises are some of the families to which these 30 species belong.
Unlike fish that lay eggs, have scales and breathe through gills. The cetaceans are a mammal that feeds on maternal milk when they are born and like us, breathes air, has lungs and warm blood.
We will sail from Puerto Rico along the southwest coast of the island, in search of dolphins and whales in their natural habitat. Our multilingual professional crew will keep you informed about the sightings and will help you to identify the different species.
The Spirit of the Sea is a boat with a capacity for 97 people and equipped with a large glass bottom between the boat hulls , which allows you to observe the marine life that is under the waves of the sea.
We are almost sure that we can see dolphins, but if this were not the case, we will give you a bonus so you can return fro free any other day and repeat our trip.
You can choose between a trip of 2 or 3 hours and both include soft drinks and water.
In the 3 hour trip we will stop in a sheltered bay to take a swim.
Our company since its creation has been committed to making sightings with total respect towards these incredible animals and has the appropriate permits from the Canary Islands Government to carry out this activity.
Being able to observe dolphins and maybe whales in their natural environment is an absolutely enriching experience that makes us all supporters of the marine environment and ambassadors for the protection of these fantastic animals.
