Your tour begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Chiang Mai in the late afternoon or early evening. Head to the first temple of Wat Pha Lat, tucked away in a mountain landscape.

Take a short hike to reach the temple and admire its unique architectural style which combines Thai and Burmese details placed in a jungle setting. Listen to the serene sounds of waterfalls and relax for a bit before heading to the next location.

From Wat Pha Lat, go to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, one of northern Thailand’s most sacred temples. Climb 306 steps to be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding area and the temple itself.

Be impressed by the preservation of the 14th-century gold pagoda which enshrines a relic, Buddha’s shoulder bone. After spending time on the temple grounds, hop back in your vehicle to be driven back to Chiang Mai.
