With 15 square kilometres of surface, Catalina Island boasts virgin white sand beaches and crystal clear waters surrounded by palm groves. As part of the Parque Nacional del Este, the island is home to a diverse marine flora and fauna, making it a perfect destination for activities such as snorkelling, diving and fishing.
The island is divided into two main diving spots: The Wall and The Aquarium. The Wall features a 100-meter deep descent into the Caribbean Sea and is perfect for experienced divers. On the other hand, The Aquarium is a natural wonder with its abundance of colourful corals and thousands of marine species such as lionfish, frogfish, and seahorses. It is a must-visit for all diving enthusiasts.
The diving excursion to Catalina Island is available daily except Sundays and includes equipment, two dives in The Wall and The Aquarium and a delicious buffet lunch with local Dominican food and drinks.
Those with a PADI diving certificate can explore the most interesting areas underwater, while beginners will be accompanied by an experienced instructor. The journey begins from La Romana on a catamaran, with drinks and entertainment provided by our friendly team. So come and experience the wonders of the Caribbean Sea on Catalina Island!
