Catalina Island is recognised as one of the best snorkelling and scuba diving destinations in the Dominican Republic. This amazing day-trip excursion starts with our transport picking you up directly from the lobby of your hotel in Punta Cana or Bayahibe. Once all customers have been picked up, you will reach a meeting point where our staff will welcome you and you will wear the excursion bracelet.

From Punta Cana we will move in the direction of La Romana and more precisely to the private pier of Cumayasa. The bus journey will last approximately 2 hours in total and around 10 AM in the morning we will arrive in Cumayasa. You will be offered a welcome drink and after signing the waiver we will be ready to go and start our cruise.

Aboard a new and spacious boat we will cruise along the Caribbean Sea and set off towards our destination for today: the beautiful Catalina Island. You’ll be welcomed aboard and you will enjoy refreshments and music selected by the entertainment team to keep you energised during the catamaran ride.

Get ready to enjoy a scenic ride across the Caribbean side of the Dominican Republic. After about 45 minutes we will arrive near Catalina Island and you will immediately be impressed by the blue colour of its surrounding waters. Here you will have the opportunity to do 45 minutes of snorkelling and discover the spectacular marine life. The staff will provide snorkelling equipment and life jackets.

Once back on board we will continue our cruise for another 10 minutes until we approach the coast of Catalina Island. Here, using a smaller boat as a shuttle, we will reach the shore. We will spend approximately 2.5 - 3 hours here in a private beach club with private bar, restaurant and relax area. Lunch will be served around 1:00PM buffet style. It is a typical Dominican lunch with local dishes including 2 varieties of rice, pasta, grilled meat, salads, vegetables and fresh fruit. The bar will serve from now alcoholic drinks as well (rum and beer) with no limit!! (open-bar).

After lunch, the afternoon is dedicated to relax. Around 3:00 pm it's time to leave the island. We will return on board our boat where the staff will continue the party with their music and entertainment. The bar will remain open for the entire duration of the cruise and the atmosphere on board will be pure party.

Around 4:00PM we will will return to the private pier in Cumayasa where our bus will be waiting for us to take us back to our hotel.
