In the sun-drenched hills of Montalcino, where rows of vineyards stretch as far as the eye can see, a winemaking legacy was born. It all began in 1888 when Ferruccio Biondi-Santi, a visionary viticulturist, meticulously selected and cultivated a Sangiovese clone that would later become the heart and soul of Brunello wine.

As time unfolded, so did the reputation of Brunello di Montalcino. In 1966, it earned the coveted Denominazione di Origine Controllata (DOC) status, and in 1980, it proudly became Italy's first Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita (DOCG) wine—a testament to its unparalleled quality.

Internationally acclaimed, Brunello captivates with its deep ruby hue, complex aromas, and robust structure. Aged for a minimum of five years, including two in oak barrels and four months in the bottle, each sip tells a storey of the Tuscan terroir.

Through the years, Brunello's popularity soared, becoming a symbol of Italian winemaking mastery. Annually, as the vines matured and the grapes ripened, winemakers crafted a symphony of flavours, blending notes of ripe fruit, spices, leather, and tobacco.

The storey of Brunello is one of patience and passion, as winemakers delicately nurture the vines and carefully orchestrate the ageing process. With each passing season, the wine evolves, gaining depth and nuance.

Today, Brunello di Montalcino stands as a testament to the marriage of tradition and innovation. It is not merely a wine; it is an expression of the land, a celebration of craftsmanship, and a timeless journey encapsulated in each bottle. As wine enthusiasts worldwide uncork Brunello, they partake in the rich narrative of a wine that has transcended generations, leaving an indelible mark on the world of oenology.
