Beach Yoga
A 60 minute beach yoga class on the sand, in the shade of a Banyan Tree at the entrance of Kapiolani Park. Class is a mix of dance conditioning, sports stretching, and Hatha yoga.
On some days, 'Social Distant Partner Yoga is available. 10 foot yoga straps are used in a loop, for pairs to lean away and pull away and towards each other. It's a blast, but it does require paying attention to another person as you each are sharing weight in motion.
On most days a strap is used individually. Adding a constant pull with the arms creates a more whole body experience, and your shoulder will feel deeply eased, toned, and stretched.
Currently available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. To see an updated schedule, check online at www.waikikiyoga.com and click book now to see the schedule.
Also check the “Where to Meet” page.

It's a mix of dance conditioning, sports stretching and Hatha yoga where the goal is to relax into a form of relaxation while toning muscles and explanding understanding of how to sequence into and out of each yoga pose.
