What you can expect

The Ayutthaya World Heritage Tour is a remarkable journey into the heart of Thailand's rich history and culture, centred around the ancient city of Ayutthaya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This tour provides an immersive experience, allowing visitors to explore the fascinating ruins and temples that reflect the grandeur of the former capital of the Kingdom of Siam.

Key Highlights:

Historical Significance: The tour delves into the history of Ayutthaya, which flourished from the 14th to the 18th century. Visitors will learn about the city's importance as a major trading hub and its unique architectural style that combines influences from neighbouring cultures.

Visit Iconic Temples: Participants will explore several of Ayutthaya's most famous temples, including:

  • Wat Phra Si Sanphet: Once the most important temple in Ayutthaya, known for its impressive stupas and historical significance.
  • Wat Mahathat: Renowned for the iconic Buddha head entwined in tree roots, this site offers stunning views of ancient architecture.
  • Wat Chaiwatthanaram: A picturesque temple located along the river, showcasing beautiful Khmer-style architecture.

Guided Exploration: Knowledgeable local guides lead the tour, providing insights into the history, architecture, and cultural significance of each site. Their expertise enriches the experience with fascinating stories and anecdotes.

Cultural Experiences: In addition to visiting temples, the tour may include opportunities to experience local culture, such as traditional crafts, local markets, and regional delicacies. This provides a deeper understanding of the lifestyle and customs of the Thai people.

Scenic Transport Options: The tour often includes comfortable transport, whether by air-conditioned vehicle or, for some itineraries, a scenic boat ride along the Chao Phraya River, allowing guests to appreciate the landscapes from a different perspective.

Photography Opportunities: The stunning ruins, beautiful landscapes, and unique architectural features offer ample opportunities for photography. Visitors can capture memorable moments against the backdrop of Ayutthaya's historical sites.

Before returning back to Bangkok, you will enjoy a delicious Buffet Lunch at TM Land Hotel.
