Batch Winery and Dining
Vineyard: Established in 1998, Thomas Vineyard spans 3.5 hectares with a north-facing slope. Predominantly Chardonnay, with sections of Syrah and Pinot Gris. Perched atop a hill in iron-rich clay soils, shaped by ancient Jurassic bedrock. Sea winds bring unique Umami flavours. In 2006, Margaret Reeve Lane Vineyard, 2 hectares, mature Syrah and Bordeaux plantings.
Food: Relaxed island-style eating with dishes to share while overlooking the Hauraki Gulf and Auckland City skyline. Menus offer dishes made from fresh, healthy and local ingredients. At Batch Winery we will have a 3-course meal and drinks.
