Picking you up at 09.00 am at your hotel in Rome, will drive for 2.15 hours to Assisi, through the beautiful scenery of Lazio and Umbria regions. The first stop will be at Santa Maria degli Angeli Village, to visit the main church, inside which the “Porziuncola” (Little stone church where St. Franci's died) is located.
Will keep driving up to Assisi, to stop near St. Franci's Basilica, to visit his tomb and the double levels church, full of frescoes and reliques. Time to walk then through the town for religious and souvenirs shopping.
Around 01.00 pm will leave Assisi, to reach within 30 minutes, a countryside winery, where you will have a lunch based on Pasta, Salame, Vegetables and wine (Addtl cost of Euro 25/30 per person).
After lunch and the farm visit, will drive you back to Rome, dropping you off at your hotel again around 07.00 pm.
