Itinerary
Day 1: Huaraz (3100 m) - Caraz (2200 m) - Cashapampa (2900 m) - Llamacoral (3760 m).
We will leave Huaraz heading northwest, entering the Callejón de Huaylas valley. Along the way, we will make several stops to marvel at the breathtaking views of the Cordillera Blanca, highlighting the Huascaran, the highest peak in Peru, with 6768 metres. Our hike will begin in Cashapampa, after approximately 3 hours of transport and will extend for 5 hours of hiking.
Day 2: Llamacoral (3760m) - Laguna Arhuaycocha (44 50m) - Taullipampa (4250m)
On the second day, we will depart from Llamacoral (3760m), after breakfast, passing by the Arhuaycocha Lagoon (4450m) and enjoying the majesty of the Santa Cruz Valley. During the trek, we will see the imposing Alpamayo peak, considered the most beautiful mountain in the world. The day will end at Taullipampa (4250m) after about 7-8 hours of trekking.
Day 3: Taullipampa (4250 m) - Paso de Punta Unión (4750 m) - Cachinapampa (3700 m)
The third day, after breakfast, will take us from Taullipampa (4250m) to Punta Union Pass (4750m), where we will marvel at the spectacular panoramic views of the various peaks that surround us. Then, we will descend to Cachinapampa in approximately 7 hours.
Day 4: Cachinapampa (3700 m) - Vaquería (3800 m) - Huaraz (3100 m)
On the last day, we will descend through the valley of Huaripampa, during our last tour we will be exploring picturesque villages and enjoying the rich Andean vegetation. Afterwards, we will ascend to Vaqueria (3800m), where our transport will be waiting for us to return to Huaraz, completing the day with approximately 3 hours of trekking and 4 hours of transport.
