What you can expect

Day 1

On the first day of your 2-day Afro dance class in Accra, you will arrive at the dance studio at 10:00 AM. You will be greeted by your instructor and the other students in the class.

Your instructor will start by introducing you to the basics of Afro-dance. This includes learning the different types of Afro-dance, the basic rhythms, and the basic steps. You will also learn about the culture and history of Afro-dance.

Once you have learned the basics, you will start to learn some simple Afro-dance choreographies. These choreographies will be easy to follow and will help you to practice the basic steps and rhythms.

You will also have the opportunity to practice your moves in front of a mirror. This will help you to see how your movements look and to make sure that you are performing the steps correctly.

After practising for a while, you will take a break. During the break, you can drink some water, rest, and socialise with the other students in the class.

After the break, you will continue to learn more Afro-dance moves and choreographies. You will also have the opportunity to practice your moves in a group setting.

At the end of the day, you will be exhausted but happy. You will have learned a lot about Afro dance and you will have had a lot of fun.

Day 2

On the second day of your 2-day Afro dance class in Accra, you will arrive at the dance studio at 10:00 AM. You will be greeted by your instructor and the other students in the class.

Your instructor will start by reviewing the Afro-dance moves and choreographies that you learned on the first day. You will then start to learn more advanced Afro-dance moves and choreographies.

You will also have the opportunity to work on your technique. Your instructor will help you to improve your coordination, your flexibility, and your balance.

After practising for a while, you will take a break. During the break, you can drink some water, rest, and socialise with the other students in the class.

After the break, you will continue to learn more advanced Afro-dance moves and choreographies. You will also have the opportunity to practice your moves in a group setting.

At the end of the day, you will have a chance to perform your newfound skills in a fun and supportive environment. You will be able to show off the Afro-dance moves and choreographies that you have learned over the past two days.
