We know what it's like to visit a new place (or return to an already-visited place). You want to see and experience as much as you can! We understand that. Our main goal with the Tour de Wilmington is to show you as much of Wilmington as possible. The areas that we travel through or have a brief stop in, are areas that you may not have discovered otherwise! Some of these are off the beaten track, some up-and-coming, but all are sure to impress.

Our tours are focused on mainly riding the e-bikes, showing you around the areas. Getting on and off e-bikes can be challenging for some, and for this reason, we specifically do not require attendees to dismount and re-mount their e-bikes several times throughout the tour (aka, a talking tour). We will have brief stops at a few places, but for the most part, you will get to really enjoy a beautiful e-bike ride!

Activity itinerary

This tour is hands-down the #1 way to experience Wilmington! On this exciting city and nature tour, we aim to show you as much of Wilmington as possible, all within 2 hours and 15 minutes of action-packed e-bike exploring. For the Autumn, we've also added a new surprise stop! Our e-bike guided tour will take you through the heart of city centre, where you will be able to view Wilmington's best restaurants, bars, shops, and historic landmarks. We will also ride over the infamous One Tree Hill Bridge. We will guide you through areas such as the Cargo District, Soft drink Pop District, Brooklyn Arts District, Greenfield Lake Park, Memorial Park, the famous Riverwalk in city centre, as well as the up-and-coming Castle Street. While travelling around Greenfield Lake Park, we will guide along an amazing bike route, where you will ride the twisty and curvy trail through the park, over wooden bridges, and around the beautiful Greenfield Lake. Along the ride, you will see a wide variety of plants, flowers, fish, and wildlife. You may even see a gator crossing! This tour also includes a surprise 15-minute ice cream stop to Wilmington's Wandering Cone Creamery where you will have the option to purchase some of the finest small batch homemade ice cream. This ride is all about having FUN on e-bikes, while seeing some historic sites, historic homes, famous landmarks, and more. By the end, you will have a good sense of where to go to hang out, have fun, and enjoy Wilmington! All tour attendees must arrive 20 minutes prior to start time.
