Know before you book

  • You must be able to ride a bicycle on your own at a leisurely pace for a distance of up to 8 miles (13 km). Caravans and child seats are available for younger riders.
  • You must present a valid photo ID on the day of the activity.
  • The date you select when booking will be the date of your Alcatraz tour; the bike tour will take place the day after.
  • Check-in is 30 minutes prior to the booked tour start time.

The date you book is the date you will visit Alcatraz Island! Head to Pier 33 to catch the ferry to Alcatraz Island's formidable shores. Explore this legendary former island prison and its immersive exhibits before you head back to the City by the Bay.

The day after to your Alcatraz trip, kick off your journey with an unforgettable bike tour over the Golden Gate Bridge, and into Sausalito. Get fitted for a helmet, pick out your bike, and then pedal after your guide towards the massive towers of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Stop off for a postcard-perfect photo opportunity and then roll over this iconic piece of infrastructure to reach the Marin Headlands, following a winding road that leads to the bay-bordered boulevards of Sausalito.
