Day 1 Chengdu arrival
Welcome to Chengdu. You will be escorted to the hotel. If time permits, you can visit the Broad and Narrow Alley, tasting delicious snacks, watching folk shows, and feeling the hustle and bustle in the lively city！
Day 2 Chengdu-Dujiangyan-Mount. Siguniang
Drive one hour to Dujiangyan, the oldest and only surviving no-dam irrigation system in the world. While sightseeing, you can know its history and functions. Then drive 2.5 hours to Mount. Siguniang.
Day 3 Mount. Siguniang-Danba
Spend the relaxing morning to hike along the valley and capture the splendid scenery of Mount. Siguniang. After lunch, drive 3 hours to Danba. We will get across the Zhonglu Tibetan Village, where you can see the stunning spectacle view of setting sun and idyllic countryside.
Day 4 Danba-Yajiang
Enjoy a peaceful morning in Danba. Then we will make our way to Yajiang. The drive is about 5 hours. Walk around the small town on the cliff and try the stewed chicken with tricholoma matsutake.
Day 5 Yajiang-Daocheng-Riwa
Head to Daocheng. During the 7 hour drive, we will pass through Litang Temple where you can see a dazzling array of instruments, statues of Buddha, and a vast collection of documents. Afterwards, drive 2.5 hours to Riwa.
Day 6 Riwa
Let’s start in the Chonggu Monastery and go hiking to visit the Three Holy Mountains. Then, go to the Luorong Pasture. In addition, the Five Clolor Lake and Milk Lakes are well worth visiting.
Day 7 Riwa-Shangri-la
Head to Shangri-la, and the drive is about 5.5 hours. The destination is Dukezong Old Town. Join in the tourists to turn the largest Prayer Wheel in clockwise direction. Tibetans regards it as a good way to pray for happiness.
Day 8 Shangri-la-Tiger Leaping Gorge
Try to get up early and pay a visit to Songzanlin Monastery to watch the very first ray of sunshine dye the snow-capped peaks gold. You can go for a walk and get a closer look at the beautiful Tibetan city. In the late afternoon, we will drive 2 hours to Tiger Leaping Gorge.
Day 9 Tiger leaping Gorge
Go hiking along Tiger Leaping Gorge, one of the Top Ten hiking routes in the world. After going hike for a while, you can continue to discover a more wonderful view of gorge; if not, you can sit down in a cafe shop, drinking coffee and admiring the scenery outside the window.
Day 10 Tiger Leaping Gorge-Lijiang
It takes you almost 2 hours to Lijiang. Visit Mufu Palace and wander through the narrow avenues to have a look of superb handicrafts and national costumes. At night, dance with local people. End the day with the joyful dance!
Day 11 Lijiang
Continue to explore the beauties nearby. This morning is for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the most sacred mountain in Lijiang. After that, head to Baisha Village and appreciate the ancient Baisha Mural paintings.
Day 12 Departure from Lijiang
