Laglio (Pass by)
Laglio is a small municipality overlooking the western shore of Lake Como and is part of the Riva Romantica. From abroad you can admire majestic buildings such as Villa La Punta (home of Igor Kogan, Putin's right-hand man) and Villa Oleandra (home of the famous actor George Clooney).
Orrido di Nesso (Pass by)
Breathtaking point where you can admire a magnificent waterfall.
Villa del Balbianello (Pass by)
Villa del Balbianello is a historic building located in Lenno, it is considered the "Jewel" of Lake Como, being one of the most beautiful villas present. Charming architecture and lush gardens with panoramic views, perfect for special events. It was the key that pushed many Hollywood directors to set famous sagas here, such as those of Star Wars and 007 "Casino Royale".
Villa del Balbiano - Complesso Architettonico di Ossuccio (ante 1778) (Pass by)
Historic residence located in Ossuccio, in 2021 Villa del Balbiano was used for the filming of the film House of Gucci.
Isola Comacina (Pass by)
a particular place where you can admire the wonderful Comacina island, an oasis for those who love relaxation and silence.
Villa Le Fontanelle (Pass by)
The four-storey yellow-painted building was built in the first half of the 19th century in neoclassical style by the eccentric Lord Charles Currie, a visiting Englishman who fell in love with Lake Como. In 1977 it was bought by the famous Italian designer Gianni Versace and became his holiday home on Lake Como
Villa d'Este (Pass by)
It is a Renaissance residence located on the shores of the lake. Both the villa and the 25-acre park surrounding it have been substantially modified from the original construction. Since 1873, the complex has been used as a luxury hotel and to date Villa d'Este is in the ranking of the 10 most luxurious hotels in the world.
Cernobbio (Pass by)
Cernobbio is located on the western shore of Lake Como, the place is known for the beauty of the landscape that has inspired many artists and in addition to art and culture, the village of Cernobbio offers a picturesque view and a relaxing environment, on a human scale, ideal for those who want to spend quiet and pleasant days.
Villa Troubetzkoy (Pass by)
Built in the mid-nineteenth century, it has an external lift that connects it to the Larian road. It was commissioned by the Russian prince of the same name who, after his detention in Siberia, came to live in Belvio. In order to gain time, he had the rocks on the shore cleared with the mine explosion.
Villa Erba (Pass by)
Villa Erba is a place of great historical importance, home to the Museum of Rooms of Luchino Visconti, as well as an exhibition and conference centre. Overlooking the Lake, it is located in a wonderful centuries-old park and is also part of the property a green area overlooking the lake that once served as a gallop.
The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como (Pass by)
Mandarin Oriental, Lake Como is an oasis of tranquility, located on the sunny shores of Lake Como. Dating back to the 19th century, Villa Roccabruna is located in the heart of the resort and has been masterfully restored to create a sense of modern Italian elegance with a delicate oriental charm.
Torno (Pass by)
The town of Torno is located on the western shore of the lake, about 6 kilometres south of Como, and is characterised by narrow cobbled streets, colourful houses, ancient mansions and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the lake.
Villa Pliniana (Pass by)
Villa Pliniana is a villa originally built in 1574, on a pre-existing although more modest building, in the territory of the municipality of Torno, in the province of Como, on the right bank of the western branch of Lake Como
I Giardini di Villa Melzi (Pass by)
The façade of Villa Melzi is simple and regular, consisting of a double flight of steps and decorated with four Egyptian style lions. On the sides of the external terrace stand two marble statues of the sixteenth century, representing Apollo and Meleagro. In front of the villa, a large fountain overlooking the lake.
Tremezzo (Pass by)
Tremezzo, middle ground, develops partly along the shores of the lake, between eighteenth- and nineteenth-century villas, and partly along the slopes of the mountains behind. Among the ancient stately homes stands Villa Carlotta with its wonderful botanical park rich in various tree and floral species and you can also admire the luxurious Grand Hotel Tremezzo
