Fengshui Travel Guide 2017: Where to go based on your Chinese Zodiac

With the Lunar New Year around the corner, we wanted to know where the mystical energies are pointing travellers this year. Unfortunately, we didn’t get get anywhere with our own rain dance. So sought out the masters. We consulted with Fengshui master Master Seldan to enlighten us on auspicious travel destinations to visit this year based on a Chinese astrology reading.  Master Seldan Lim is a metaphysical fengshui management coach and frequent keynote speaker. He tells us the where each of the Chinese horoscope zodiac signs should go this year.

So rub your hands as we unveil where the winds are pointing you for good fengshui and luck on your holidays in 2017. From roosters to dragons, here’s some inspiration to plan your travels with luck on your side.

Rat

Your inclination to always be around busy environments will draw you to places with lots of people even on your holidays. Those born in the year of the rat should kick back on the scenic beaches of Bintan in the day, and enjoy a party away when night falls.

If you have the luxury of time, meet and mingle with other travelers on an island-hopping itinerary in the amazing culturally rich Caribbean Islands. Put your rat versatility to the test here, discovering the melting pot of African and European cultures and languages.

Ox

The industrious ox with your steady demeanour leads you toward  lively Las Vegas and Brazil this year. Or on a different tempo, those born in the year of the ox may volunteer in Myanmar where you can have a taste of the local Burmese culture while doing good.

Brazil is home to affectionate people, impressive scenery, beautiful beaches. Here, ‘hips don’t lie’ might not be true when the samba music comes on the Brazilians bewitch you with their amazing dance culture. Brazil is also home to the largest rainforest on earth. Definitely a country you would want to explore at length, given your determined mindset.
